It is built around true Finnish sauna principles, with elevated benches that place you higher in the cabin where the heat is best, while keeping your feet closer to the rocks for a more balanced and effective heat profile. It also features 3 passive air vents to support better airflow throughout the session, premium Finnish pine treated for exterior use, and a refined full-glass front that gives the cabin a more open feel. The result is a sauna that feels more immersive, more comfortable, and more true to tradition in use.

Our 2–3 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is designed to offer a comfortable, relaxed experience for 2 adults, while still accommodating up to 3 people when using the 2-tier bench layout.

Our 4–6 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is designed for a more spacious and social experience. Its larger interior and L-shaped bench layout allow up to 4 people to sit comfortably on the upper bench, with room for 2 additional people on the lower bench when needed.

Traditional saunas and infrared saunas create heat in very different ways. A traditional sauna uses a heater and sauna stones to heat the air around you, creating the hotter, steam-rich environment many sauna lovers prefer. You can also pour water over the stones to create steam and adjust the feel of the session.

Infrared saunas, on the other hand, heat the body more directly and typically operate at lower temperatures without the same steam effect. If you are looking for the classic hot-and-steamy sauna ritual, a traditional sauna is the more authentic experience.

Our recommended pairing for most customers is the Toule 9kW Heater, which delivers the strong, consistent heat and rich steam that define a true traditional sauna session. It offers an excellent balance of performance, responsiveness, and everyday usability, making it a great fit for normal day-to-day use.

For the larger 4–6 person model, customers looking for faster heat-up times, stronger overall output, or better performance in very cold climates may also prefer our Homecraft APEX 12kW Heater upgrade.

Please note: the heater and stones are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to choose the setup that best fits your space, electrical requirements, and performance preferences.

The Toule 9kW Heater requires a 240V / 50A electrical connection, while the Homecraft 12kW Heater requires a 240V / 70A electrical connection. Both heaters should be installed by a qualified electrician.

For customers in colder winter climates, or for those who want faster heat-up times and stronger overall performance on the larger model, the Homecraft APEX 12kW Heater is our higher-performance option. On the 4–6 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna, you can expect approximately:

• 50–60 minutes to reach 80°C at -20°C ambient temperature

An optional Wi-Fi controller upgrade is also available for the Homecraft heater, making it easy to start your sauna remotely so it is warm and ready when you want to use it, which is especially convenient during colder winter days

Three passive air vents work together to create a more balanced airflow throughout the sauna, helping maintain a fresher, more comfortable environment while reducing the buildup of stale air and CO₂ over time. It is a simple but important detail that helps longer sessions feel better and more enjoyable.

The base sauna kit includes the main sauna structure, core cabin components and a standard sauna light. The heater, stones, chromotherapy lighting, roofing kit, and accessories are sold separately. Our Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is crafted from premium Finnish pine treated for exterior use and is designed for outdoor installation through changing seasons. For stronger long-term weather protection, added waterproofing, and greater peace of mind, we strongly recommend pairing it with our roofing kit, especially for year-round use and winter climates.

Customers who buy the Roofing Kit automatically extend their sauna kit warranty from 2 to 5 years.

The sauna should be installed on a solid, level, and well-supported base. Common options include a concrete pad, patio stones, paving stones, or a properly built deck or platform that can support the full weight of the sauna and its occupants. A stable base is important for proper assembly, door alignment, long-term performance, and water management.

Permit requirements vary depending on your municipality, lot, and the specific installation. In some areas, an outdoor sauna may require a permit, while in others it may not. We recommend checking with your local municipality or building authority before installation to confirm any requirements related to structure, setbacks, electrical work, or outdoor accessory buildings.

Your sauna is shipped in a crate and delivered by freight, so it is important to make sure the delivery location is accessible and that you have enough space to receive it. Before delivery day, we recommend confirming access paths, driveway clearance, and the planned location for the sauna. You will receive a tracking number when your sauna ships so you’ll be able to be ready when you receive it.

The Sanctuary Sauna comes with easy to follow instructions. Assembly time depends on the sauna size, your level of experience, and site conditions, but as a general guideline:

• The 2–3 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna takes approximately 8 hours with 2 people
• The 4–6 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna takes approximately 16 hours with 2 people

Most customers will only need standard assembly tools such as a drill or driver, screwdriver bits, a level, tape measure, rubber mallet, wrench or socket set, ladder, and utility knife. We strongly recommend having 2 people for assembly, especially when handling larger panels or glass components. Heater installation should be completed separately by a qualified electrician.

Yes. Our Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna includes a 2-year base warranty on the frame, which is extended to 5 years when purchased with the roofing kit for added long-term protection and peace of mind.

The Toule heater comes with a 1-year warranty, while our Homecraft heaters include a 2-year warranty as standard.
