Sauna Engineering, Certifications & Manufacturing Transparency

Sauna Engineering & Manufacturing Partners

Nordik Recovery saunas are developed in collaboration with long-established manufacturing partners specializing in infrared sauna production.

Our manufacturing partners have over 20 years of experience in sauna manufacturing and collectively produce more than 60,000 sauna units per year, supplying multiple established infrared sauna brands across North America and Europe.

This manufacturing scale and longevity allow us to focus on product design, quality control, compliance, and long-term customer support, rather than one-off or short-run production. All Nordik Recovery sauna models are developed with consistent engineering standards and manufacturing oversight.

Certifications & Electrical Safety

Nordik Recovery saunas are certified through Intertek, an accredited testing laboratory recognized by both U.S. and Canadian authorities to test and certify products for North American markets.

Our saunas are currently in the process of receiving the ETL Listed mark, which indicates independent testing and verification to applicable electrical safety standards required for legal sale and installation in Canada and the United States.

In addition, our products carry CE certification, demonstrating compliance with applicable European safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Certification status may vary by model and configuration. Final certification markings and documentation are provided on each product label and product listing as applicable.

Warranty & Customer Support

Nordik Recovery saunas are covered by a comprehensive two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, including electronics and structural components, in line with prevailing industry standards for residential infrared saunas.

An optional extended warranty is available at the time of purchase, allowing customers to extend total coverage for up to five years, depending on the selected plan.

Warranty terms, coverage details, and exclusions are clearly outlined prior to purchase. Customer support is provided by a dedicated North American service team, with access to replacement parts and technical assistance as needed.

Our Operating History

Nordik Recovery is part of 21 TSI (21st Century Technological Industries), a privately held consumer products group that has been operating for over six years across multiple categories including strength equipment, recovery products, and active lifestyle brands.

Across its portfolio of brands, the group has served over 110,000 customers across Canada and the United States, reflecting long-term involvement in product development, logistics, compliance, and customer support.

The group operates several established brands, including:

  • Montreal Weights

  • Ascend

  • Maddle

  • Nordik Recovery

Through these brands, the group has developed deep operational experience in health, wellness, and fitness products, including equipment that requires specialized handling, installation considerations, and post-purchase support. This includes established logistics and fulfillment processes tailored to large and bulky products such as gym equipment, recovery systems, and saunas, where freight coordination, packaging standards, and customer communication are critical to successful delivery.

Across its brands, the group also has experience designing, building, and supporting multiple engineered consumer products, including complex systems that integrate electrical components, controls, motors, thermal systems, structural assemblies, and wood construction.

Examples include products such as the Ascend S2 Bike (sold for over three years), the Ascend treadmill lineup (with multiple generations in market since 2021), the Ascend Wooden Water Rower (sold for over three years), and the Ultimate Pro Chiller, reflecting repeated execution across product development, manufacturing coordination, compliance, logistics, and long-term post-purchase support.
