It is built around true Finnish sauna principles, with elevated benches that place you higher in the cabin where the heat is best, while keeping your feet closer to the rocks for a more balanced and effective heat profile. It also features 3 passive air vents to support better airflow throughout the session, premium Finnish pine treated for exterior use, and a refined full-glass front that gives the cabin a more open feel. The result is a sauna that feels more immersive, more comfortable, and more true to tradition in use.

Our 2–3 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is designed to offer a comfortable, relaxed experience for 2 adults, while still accommodating up to 3 people when using the 2-tier bench layout.

Our 4–6 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is designed for a more spacious and social experience. Its larger interior and L-shaped bench layout allow up to 4 people to sit comfortably on the upper bench, with room for 2 additional people on the lower bench when needed.

Traditional saunas and infrared saunas create heat in very different ways. A traditional sauna uses a heater and sauna stones to heat the air around you, creating the hotter, steam-rich environment many sauna lovers prefer. You can also pour water over the stones to create steam and adjust the feel of the session.

Infrared saunas, on the other hand, heat the body more directly and typically operate at lower temperatures without the same steam effect. If you are looking for the classic hot-and-steamy sauna ritual, a traditional sauna is the more authentic experience.

Our recommended pairing for the Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is the Toule 9kW Heater, which is built to deliver the strong, consistent heat and rich steam that define a true traditional sauna session. It is a great fit for customers who want a hotter, more immersive experience with the proper stone-heated feel traditional saunas are known for. Please note: the heater and stones are sold separately. You may choose our Toule 9kW Heater or pair the sauna with a compatible heater of your choice based on your space, electrical setup, and performance preferences.

The Toule 9kW Heater requires a 240V electrical connection and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Because electrical requirements can vary depending on your local code and installation setup, we always recommend confirming compatibility with your electrician before installation.

Heat-up time depends on the sauna size, heater choice, ambient temperature, and outdoor conditions.

For the 2–3 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna, you can expect approximately:

• 30–40 minutes to reach 80°C at 20°C ambient temperature
• 50–60 minutes to reach 80°C at -20°C ambient temperature

For the 4–6 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna, you can expect approximately:

• 40–50 minutes to reach 80°C at 20°C ambient temperature
• 60–70 minutes to reach 80°C at -20°C ambient temperature

For customers in very cold winter climates, or for those who simply want faster heat-up times and stronger overall performance, the sauna can also be paired with a more powerful heater. This is especially true for the 4–6 person model, where a 10.5 kW heater would be our recommended performance option. We will also be releasing an optional 10.5 kW heater in the coming weeks.

Yes. Our Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna is crafted from premium Finnish pine treated for exterior use and is designed for outdoor installation through changing seasons. For stronger long-term weather protection, added waterproofing, and greater peace of mind, we strongly recommend pairing it with our roofing kit, especially for year-round use and winter climates.

The sauna should be installed on a solid, level, and well-supported base. Common options include a concrete pad, patio stones, paving stones, or a properly built deck or platform that can support the full weight of the sauna and its occupants. A stable base is important for proper assembly, door alignment, long-term performance, and water management.

Permit requirements vary depending on your municipality, lot, and the specific installation. In some areas, an outdoor sauna may require a permit, while in others it may not. We recommend checking with your local municipality or building authority before installation to confirm any requirements related to structure, setbacks, electrical work, or outdoor accessory buildings.

Your sauna is shipped in a crate and delivered by freight, so it is important to make sure the delivery location is accessible and that you have enough space to receive it. Before delivery day, we recommend confirming access paths, driveway clearance, and the planned location for the sauna. You will receive a tracking number when your sauna ships so you’ll be able to be ready when you receive it.

The Sanctuary Sauna comes with easy to follow instructions. Assembly time depends on the sauna size, your level of experience, and site conditions, but as a general guideline:

• The 2–3 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna takes approximately 8 hours with 2 people
• The 4–6 Person Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna takes approximately 16 hours with 2 people

Most customers will only need standard assembly tools such as a drill or driver, screwdriver bits, a level, tape measure, rubber mallet, wrench or socket set, ladder, and utility knife. We strongly recommend having 2 people for assembly, especially when handling larger panels or glass components. Heater installation should be completed separately by a qualified electrician.

Yes. Our Sanctuary Outdoor Sauna includes a 5-year warranty on the frame when used with the roofing kit, as well as a 1-year warranty on the heater. This added coverage helps provide greater peace of mind for customers looking for long-term performance and protection.
