After more than 5,000 Nordik Recovery infrared saunas made their way into customers' homes, we had an enormous amount of real-world feedback to work with. Our Infrared Sauna 2.0 is the result of taking what customers loved about the original models and refining the areas where we knew we could make the experience even better.

One of the biggest changes is our new NordikLock™ Panel System. Pre-built modular panels and a pre-installed door significantly simplify setup, bringing assembly time down to under 15 minutes while eliminating much of the alignment required with the previous generation.

We also redesigned key components to achieve ultra-low EMF performance. Our Infrared Sauna 2.0 has been independently tested at below 0.75 mG at the seated position and below 2 mG at just 2 inches from the heaters.

The new generation is also ETL certified to applicable North American electrical safety standards, adding independent verification of the electrical safety and compliance of the product.

Beyond those headline improvements, we've refined construction, fit and finish, and smaller details throughout the sauna based on what we've learned from thousands of customers and installations.

The result is our most refined generation yet, keeping the full-spectrum infrared experience, Canadian Hemlock construction and features customers already loved, while making the sauna easier to assemble, independently verified for ultra-low EMF performance, ETL certified and better resolved throughout.

A traditional sauna heats the air to very high temperatures, which then heats your body. An infrared sauna warms your body directly using light waves, creating a deeper, more comfortable heat at lower air temperatures. It is easier to breathe in and produces a faster sweat response.

Full-spectrum infrared supports circulation, muscle recovery, joint mobility, detoxification, skin health, inflammation reduction, stress relief, and better sleep. Because the heat penetrates deeper into the tissues, the wellness effects are a lot more noticeable than far-infrared alone.

Our sauna uses true full-spectrum infrared, delivers very low EMF levels, and is built with a low VOC solid Hemlock interior. We design everything in Canada, offer modular servicing for easy repairs, and sell directly with no retail markup, which gives you much greater value for the quality.

Our new generation of saunas delivers ultra-low EMF performance, measuring below 0.75 mG at the seated position and below 2 mG at just 2 inches from the heaters. These results have been independently verified by an accredited third-party laboratory and are available to the public.

• The 1-person model fits one adult comfortably. It has external dimensions of W: 31.5" x D: 35.4" x H: 66.9". Even if it's shorter, it can fit seated adults of up to 6'6"
• The 2-person model allows two adults to sit side-by-side comfortably. It has external dimensions of W: 47.2" x D: 41.3" x H: 74.8".
• The 3-person model fits up to three adults side-by-side. It has external dimensions of W: 60.2" x D: 43.3" x H: 74.8".

The entire interior is made of 100% solid Canadian Hemlock with no plywood, MDF, varnish, stain, or chemical coatings. The cabin is low in VOC and safe to breathe inside.

Yes, each sauna has a built-in passive air vent to maintain fresh airflow during your session. For proper operation and easy installation, please allow the following clearances:

• 2 inches on each side
• 4 inches behind
• 6 inches above
• 12 inches in front of the door for opening.

This helps the cabin breathe and ensures consistent temperature performance.

The sauna is designed for indoor use. A sheltered patio can work as long as the space stays fully dry and above 10°C at all times. If temperatures fall below this threshold, the sauna will struggle to reach proper heat as it is not insulated.

All of our units are plug-and-play and do not require electricians or hardwiring for installation.

• Our 1 and 2-person models require a dedicated 15 A / 120 V outlet, the standard ones found in North American homes.
• Our 3-person model requires a dedicated 20 A / 120 V outlet, which is typically found in your garages, kitchens or laundry rooms. If your room of choice does not have a 120 V / 20 A outlet, an electrician can easily install one.

At a 20°C room temperature, the sauna reaches ready-to-sweat warmth in 10 min and maximum temperatures of 60-65 °C in ~20 min. Our full spectrum technology allows quicker heat up times vs other far infrared saunas.

Each model includes full-spectrum infrared heaters, far-infrared carbon side panels, heated floors, LED lighting with multiple color modes, a digital control panel, built-in ventilation and bluetooth speakers.

Your sauna ships securely in a custom wooden crate for added protection in transit. With our new Canadian distribution hub network in Toronto, Montréal, Calgary and Vancouver, orders can be fulfilled closer to home for faster transit times and a smoother delivery experience.

Assembly is designed to be fast and straightforward. Our new NordikLock™ Panel System uses pre-built modular panels and a pre-installed door, allowing the sauna to come together in under 15 minutes. Electrical connections are simple plug-in cables, with no electrician or specialized tools required.

Every Nordik Recovery infrared sauna includes a 2-year comprehensive warranty covering both the structure and electronics.

Our modular design makes servicing straightforward, with individual heaters, control components and panels designed to be replaced without replacing the entire sauna. Warranty support, troubleshooting and replacement parts are handled by our Canadian team, giving you direct access to local service and support when you need it.

For additional peace of mind, optional extended warranty plans are also available, allowing you to extend your total coverage to 3, 4 or 5 years inclusively.

Our sauna does not include built-in red light therapy panels. The reason is simple: LED red-light systems do not perform well inside a heated, humid sauna environment. High temperatures and vapor drastically shorten their lifespan, and most panels require additional wattage that would push a standard household circuit beyond safe limits.

Instead, our units use full-spectrum infrared heaters (NIR + MIR + FIR), which deliver a broader range of wellness benefits than red light can inside a sauna.

Full spectrum provides:

Red light therapy focuses on surface-level cellular benefits like collagen support and inflammation reduction. These are valuable, but they do not replace the core heat-based therapeutic effects of infrared.

If you still want red light therapy, you can absolutely bring a free-standing red-light panel into the room and use it during your session.

Our saunas are designed in Montréal and manufactured in China in partnership with a specialized facility that has been producing premium infrared saunas for more than 20 years. The facility also manufactures for several established sauna brands worldwide, giving us access to deep manufacturing expertise and proven production processes.
